The magazine is well known for providing a solid and reliable list over the years - produced biannually - and is well respected across the industry.
In the 2022 edition there is just one course that is included in the list but doesn't feature in any of the comparable Golf Monthly, National Club Golfer and Top 100 website rankings. The course is Castletown Links on the Isle of Man.
There are no courses not included in Golf World that feature in all three of the other lists.
Overall it is a very strong and uncontroversial list.
