Please note that we have stopped the list at 20 for Wales as we believe the quality at 20th place is roughly the equivalent to 100th place in the English list and 50th place in the Scottish list.
The methodology placed an emphasis on the number of times and how recently the panel had played the courses.
Comparing it to the equivalent lists from Golf World and the Top 100 website there are three courses which would appear to miss out; Machynys Peninsula, Rolls of Monmouth and Cardigan - all three courses feature in the other two lists but not here.
These omissions make way for Pwllheli and Maesdu who cannot be found in the other two rankings.
