A bunkerless 12 hole links
Rosslare (Burrow)
The Burrow Links is not a patch on the Old course but caters for a different type of golfer.
There are two courses at Rosslare; the Old Links and the 12-hole Burrow Links. The latter is actually a five minute drive away towards the tip of Rosslare Strand.
The bunker-less Burrow Links (par 46, 3,888 yards) is vastly inferior in terms of quality but clearly caters for a different type of golfer so I don't want to be too harsh on it but apart from the short 6th, the fine 8th and the wonderful par-three ninth there is little to strongly recommend a visit for the serious golfer.
On a quiet day you could possibly jump over from the main course and play these three holes as the courses back onto each other - certainly 8 & 9 do although it would require a short, but worthwhile, walk to the 6th.
